Arts & Cultural Programs

In recognition of the 7^th Ward’s long and rich history as the historic home to rich New Orleans cultural traditions – including Social Aid and Pleasure Clubs, Mardi Gras Indians, superior craftsmanship, and jazz and brass band music – the 7^th Ward Neighborhood Center strives to highlight the significance of continuing artistic and cultural practices the social fabric of the neighborhood. To that end, the Center is committed to sponsoring arts and cultural based programming, partnering with local cultural organizations, and supporting opportunities for cross-generational cultural education.
